Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of ConceptSeek. By creating an account or using ConceptSeek, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility and account responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction) to use ConceptSeek.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us at support@conceptseek.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

2) Service description

ConceptSeek is a source-grounded research product that lets users organize source libraries, run semantic and lexical search, inspect exact passages in context, and use synthesis tools. Features may evolve over time, and some features may be added, modified, or removed.

3) Plans, credits, and billing

Some features require a paid plan and/or available credits. Credits are consumed by product actions according to current pricing/usage rules shown in product interfaces or pricing materials.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize applicable charges and agree to Stripe's terms and payment handling.

Founding Member preorder purchases reserve launch access and benefits as described on the pricing page. Unless required by law, preorder payments are non-refundable.

We may update pricing, credit costs, packaging, and plan limits prospectively. Material changes will not retroactively invalidate benefits already delivered to you.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse ConceptSeek. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Violating law, third-party rights, or contractual restrictions.
  • Attempting unauthorized access, probing, scraping, or service disruption.
  • Bypassing limits, credits, security controls, or access restrictions.
  • Uploading malicious code or content intended to damage systems.
  • Using the service to infringe intellectual property rights.

5) User content and permissions

You retain rights in content you submit to ConceptSeek. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, index, and transform that content solely to provide and improve the service for your account.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and process the content you add. You are responsible for legality and rights clearance of your inputs.

6) Intellectual property

ConceptSeek, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

7) Third-party services and content

ConceptSeek depends on third-party services (for example Stripe, OpenAI, and transcript providers) and may reference third-party source content (for example YouTube resources you provide). Availability and quality of those services can affect feature behavior. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

8) Disclaimers

ConceptSeek is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfect recall, or absolute completeness of outputs. You are responsible for independently reviewing and validating results before relying on them.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConceptSeek and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $100.

10) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConceptSeek and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, or exposed us or others to legal harm.

You may stop using the service at any time. For account closure requests, contact support@conceptseek.com.

12) Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the ConceptSeek contracting entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable mandatory law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
